Lynn's work was visual, tactile, and intellectually engaging. Through his titles, he often posed questions, inviting his audience to seek deeper meanings. One such example is “Harvard Yard”, painted in 1965. That same year, Hollywood actor Vincent Price visited Australia, with headlines declaring “A Man with $100,000 to Spend.” Price was in the country on a buying mission for the American department store Sears Roebuck, where he served as an art consultant. On that occasion, he acquired Lynn’s “Harvard Yard”.
